Preschool Parent Day
💛 PRESCHOOL PARENTS: WEDNESDAY IS YOUR DAY! 💙
Wednesday is a half day in Cicero District 99, which means our EC/Pre-K students will not have their regular classes.
But preschool parents, we don't want you to think of these days as simply a day off from school.
Every District 99 half day gives our preschool families something incredibly valuable: Preschool Parent Day!
From 9-10 A.M. tomorrow, September 9, you're invited into your child's classroom — not just to watch, but to become part of their school experience.
Come see what your child has been learning. Participate in activities together. Talk with their teacher. Meet other preschool parents. Learn more about the school your child walks into each day.
Because something important happens when parents come through those classroom doors.
The school stops being just "the place where I drop my child off" and starts becoming a community your whole family belongs to.
Your child's teacher gets to know you better. You get to know the people helping your child grow. You meet other families who are walking through the same preschool years you are. And your child gets to see something incredibly powerful:
"My family and my school are on the same team."
These Parent Days happen every half day and our preschool students do not have class. We want every EC/Pre-K family to make them a priority.
Don't think, "There isn't preschool tomorrow." Think: "Tomorrow is my opportunity to be part of my child's preschool experience."

One hour may not seem like much. But the relationships you build with your child's teacher, school, other parents — and especially your child — can last far beyond that hour.
We'll see our preschool families tomorrow morning!
